Blue Streak (or Bluestreak). This was originally the dance party of Ozooms, which took place in 1989 at the Molawin Hall of the UPLB Union Building (still popularly called by its old acronym
S.U. that means Student Union Building).
On March 10, 2005, a new concept of Blue Streak unfolded at the Runway Bar. Instead of just a mere dance party, Blue Streak included a dance contest that attracted participation from various groups including students of Street Jazz classes and high schools. This event titled Bluestreak X: Hayop sa Sayaw (An Anthology of Dance Contest and Party) hoped to boost ticket sales as UPLB students were perceived to be getting bored of the usual on campus and off campus happenings.
On September 14, 2006, Bluestreak XI: Hayop sa Tugtugan leaped to a new height at Kampus Videoke King. A band competition was held. The activity aimed to develop the talents of the youth, helped promote Original Pilipino Music (OPM), and developed a sense of competitiveness and sportsmanship among participants.
On September 5, 2007, Bluestreak XII titled “Animacoustics: Hayop sa Tugtugan ver 2.0” was another acoustic band competition held at Isis Bar and Resto.
